I’AM – Poem

I’AM

By Diana Arco

I thought the worst

But I pushed it away

With the help of the wind,

So It didn’t showed up

In my existence.

I thought the best

Of my present situation

And I’am breathing it

Every single day

For it is true as I’am myself.

Then I understood

Without hesitation,

I’am my own genie of the lamp

But the one it is in freedom

For I grant my own wishes,

When I really need them.
