You Embrace It

It’s amazing

How the perception changes

When once

You looked at something

With angry eyes

Thinking you knew

About it enough,

And today

You’re strong,

Overcoming your anger,

And studying again

That matter,

You realize

It’s not bad after all.

And gratefully

You embrace it

With welcoming eyes,

And you have

This interest,

This curiosity alive

While you’re not

Regretting your past,

When you know

For sure in your heart

You wasn’t ready

To receive the wisdom

You’re receiving now.
