Used To Bother Me – Poem

Used To Bother Me

By Diana Arco

I never thought

I could quiet my own mind.

So noisy I was,

I couldn’t  put myself off

Until falling asleep at nights.

But today

It’s a new light

In this room of my life,

Where thoughts

Don’t push against each other

To get their first chance.

So my silence

Fits alright,

And for those precious moments

I meditate my own self.

Then I invite my thoughts

To listen carefully.

When I prioritize

With my love’s understanding,

I don’t feel

The pressure

That used to bother me.

I Always Find You – Poem

I Always Find You

By Diana Arco

I always find you

In my favorite song.

In my mind

I picture you

With all my love.

I always find you

With the full moon,

And the sun

At mornings,

Drinking my tea,

I wonder about you.

I always find you

Within my soul,

So grateful

I open my home

For you.

There’s this feeling

I’am accepting with joy,

This love

That for you I have.

So,  I always find you

Close to me,

Cause’ you live within me

No matter where you are.

Message – Poem

Message

By Diana Arco

In a thought

Where a few words belong

There’s a huge universe

Of intentions.

There are truths

In each one

Of the colors

Of the rainbow.

In each number

An spiritual meaning.

These frequencies

Traveling away in the distance

Getting closer to the terms

Of our own convictions

Of our existence.

So, here’s my message…

Follow the sings

Be happy

Be wise.

PRLogJan. 2, 2015NEW YORKFounder-CEO of DonnaInk Publications, L.L.C., Ms. Quesinerry states, “‘The Composer and The Flycatcher,’ is a compelling poetry and prose fantasy novel, which tells the tale of a composer, his loss of inspiration, a muse from nature and the costs involved when desires outweigh self-respect. Written by a poet from Mexico, “The Composer and The Flycatcher” features unique rhythm and sounds as though the author is reciting to her readers. Ms. Arco is an exceptionally loving and gentle personality. The publishing house finds a spirit of joy in supporting this, her debut poetry title. At long last Diana!”

“The Composer and The Flycatcher,” is my debut title. I deliver to you, my dear reader, this loving fantasy tale written entirely in poetry. All the characters are in search of light and love in their hearts. They seek unconditional love we are all meant to experience in life; namely, love for one another and love for life’s true calling.

This title is also about music, sounds, smells, and feelings within words. This is the place where words can really dance to your eyes. Each chapter has a title and introduction where I talk to you about “what’s coming next.” And, every chapter consists of five poems; each one weaving the entire tale.

_______

About the Author: Diana Arco has been blessed with such amazing life experiences, like working as a Cultural Representative at Walt Disney’s World Epcot Mexican Pavilion. She also worked in a UK and USA Construction Company “Kier CCC Group” as the General Manager’s assistant.

Now she works in the show business as talent artist representative and booking live shows entertainment in México. But all the time she always kept alive a deep desire to share fantasy tales to readers. She felt in love with words at early age, especially poetry, the genre where she thinks “words are able to dance” just like that.

She kept writing, it took her a while, until she came up with her first book “The Composer and The Flycatcher,” where she found herself pleased because it’s a fantasy fairy tale, yes, but she took the freedom and the joy to write it in poetry.

Moon Heart – Poem and Picture

Moon Heart
By Diana Arco

And the moon
Took the shape
Of a heart.
Yes, that’s true.

When trying to focus,
Steady and ready,
The camera took the snap…
Or it was the moon’s magic
That took the freedom
To show us its true face?

But, oh surprise!
There it was.
The message of love,
With the universal symbol
We all know,
And we use
To show to someone
How much we care.

So, my dear heart of light,
You showed up
With your blessed gift
And made us smile gratefully
With your visit that night,
The one we’ll never forget.

And the moon took the shape of a heart
Amplified and rotated picture.

Moon heart original picture sep 2014
Original picture.

I wish to thank my mother “María del Rosario Arco” for listened to me when I saw the moon and I asked her to get the mobile phone to take a picture.

She Disguised As A Bird – Poem

She Disguised As A Bird
By Diana Arco

It’s in this time
Where the wonder,
She disguised as a bird
Flies through the
Gentle and rapid waves
At the ocean of the sky.
Oh sun,
And dear moon
With their beautifying arrival
And their awaited meeting.
Look at them now,
So alive and humbled.

And the word
Becomes a feeling,
And a feeling becomes a truth,
And the truth it’s a love
Like no other,
The one that sings
Inside a beating heart
Holding tight not a name
But a soul aware
Of the tender touch
Both awakes.

Then the freedom
From those heavy chains,
A past that only comes
Within a strictly invitation
Only to let us know
Who we were back then
And appreciate who we are today.
Value me now,
You, and both of us.
And love,
Responsible of such miracle,
It’s delivering
What love embraces and preaches.
Love is the fantasy thought of the mind
But the reality statement of the heart,
Awareness of the soul.

The Inspiration Behind “The Composer And The Flycatcher”

Greetings! 🙂

I’m taking this moment to talk about how did I find the inspiration to write my book “The Composer and The Flycatcher”…

I must say I wasn’t seated watching my white page in word document on my laptop’s screen, letting the time goes by while I was waiting for the inspiration to arrive.    As you know the inspiration arrives at any moment, any place, any time, so I always have with me a small notebook that I have inside my purse.

So, how this adventure started four years go?

I love to listen music, any kind of music, and there are times when I just feel the need to listen classical and back then I was searching the internet to download amazing pieces to my Ipod.   One day I came accross with a piece from the Early baroque european time.   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baroque_music  (Please open to read about this amazing music and time).

In this particular piece the flute is playing and the violin is answering… and I just fell totally in love with the sounds.    Here is the link if you would like to listen to it   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iXh8JOlP2s   Please go to the  48:46,  yes, at the end, it’s the last song from all the album.   Enjoy!

Now, I need to make a break about the “Early Baroque” song to jump into a very excited experience that happened  to me that also inspired me to write my book.  I remember very well.  It all started one saturday morning in the summer of 2009 when I was visited by a bird.  The little one started to sing outside my window.   It was so nice!  Even my mom listened the singing.   I remember I told her I’ve never listened to a bird singing like that before.  Unfortunatelly the singing didn’t last much, I only was able to enjoy it for a few weeks… until this day I haven’t been able to listen any other bird singing like the little one who used to visit me.

Back to the “Early Baroque” song again…  One day I was listening to the song… the flute speaking and the violin answering.  Then, somehow it hit me.  In my mind I saw an old man dancing while playing his violin and a little bird flying around him doing the part of the flute.   The man was wearing the Baroque’s time clothing  http://www.reconstructinghistory.com/blog/common-mens-clothing-in-the-early-baroque-period.html.  He was dancing in his living room, happy.    Then I remembered the little bird that used to sing outside my window, and it just all made sense to me.  I took my notebook and I started to write some ideas…  and  I wrote the plot after that, the characters’ descriptions, the colors and the smell of their city and their home, the music, the feelings, the pains…  It took me hours, then days, but I was so happy with my idea.

Then I thought about finding the right bird for my tale…

Since the baroque time took place in Europe, specially in Italy,  this is where I decided my tale will take place.   And after a long search of possible birds,  I came up with this little one…  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HEwyJRw6Yc    Isn’t he lovely?  Sometimes  I love to see him flying and singing inside my head.

Please, stay in touch for more…

Sincerely,

Diana ❤  🙂

All the light, life, love, freedom from the heart and soul.
