I Need You – Poem

I Need You

By Diana Arco

If I was able

To do all the things

Of the world

By myself,

Trust me that I would,

But as you and me

Already know

I cannot,

So I tell you today,

Like I told you before

And I’ll tell you tomorrow

As long as I live,

I need you,

I always have,

And I always will,

For actions were meant

To be made by you

And me.

Let us enjoy each other’s company,

Let’s have some fights,

Let us discover and learn,

Let us entertain our hearts,

Let’s overcome obstacles,

Let’s cry in each other’s arms,

Let us build such amazing adventures

You and I,

Because it is for sure

That when you really need me,

I also need you in my life.

Magical Writing – Poem

Magical Writing

By Diana Arco

Magical writing

Where such illogical

Fantasy places

Are hiding a secret truth,

Within its tale sentences

Time is frozen

Into this capsule of virtue.

There’s clarity and expectation

To reach the last chapter,

While you read

You enjoy a nice cup of tea

And delight yourself

With your favorite sweet.

Magical writing,

Dancing words

To your eyes

And music’s beating

Of your heart

Right into your being.

There’s no philosophical

Misinterpretation,

Either a labyrinth

To get lost.

It’s such an amazing structure

That takes you

Where your reading belongs,

And time it’s not a waste

When you’re enjoying yourself

While you treasure

Inside its sentences

Such life’s experiences

Of light, life, love,

And freedom.

So In every turn

The magical writing

Takes you aboard.

“All The Light, Life, Love, And Freedom From The Heart And Soul.”

Those Voices – Poem

Those Voices

By Diana Arco

I’ve shared farewell tears

For those amazing voices

No longer alive.

But I listen to their music,

I read their poetry,

I read their fantasy books,

Their classic horror novels,

And among other adventures.

So it’s their legacy

Always present

The one I enjoy,

And others,

Who are younger,

Take the chance

To discover

And learn from.

So within my own world,

I take the freedom to wish

For one day to arrive

When I’ll join

Those voices myself.

Me, another poet

From a long list of authors,

With humble knowledge

Of love

It’s waiting in line

For her turn.

But this is just a wish,

For my voice is strong today

And enjoying the list

Of authors

Working their way through

This vast literary land.

To Be Taken – Poem

To Be Taken

By Diana Arco

Burst of flames

Rapidly and dancing

The best song ever

Heats from within.

Burning heart

Without regrets

Freedom’s joy

At my door’s step will.

And the soul goes

Without hesitation

With all pure intention

Right to the path of love,

Cause’ there isn’t

A better way than this

Truly appreciated present,

Where all goods

Are there without any mistake

Ready to be taken…

And I’am not missing

Any single detail

Of such picturesque frame

Such enchanting invitation

I accept it with faith,

The one I’am walking today.

What I Truly Need – Poem

What I Truly Need
By Diana Arco

And I close my eyes,
I take a breath
Deep inside,
While my present
Is floating around
Like the wind,
I’am aware
Of its touch.

On my feet
But I let myself
In freedom
To go and search
Within my heart,
Burning in my soul,
What I can touch
And what I cannot.

Then You and I,
We are
Who we are,
And on the running of time
The history is writing
Another page
From our book of life.
Oh, treasure I embrace,
I keep safe.

So, if you see me
Right there, someday,
And you recognize me,
I hope you smile at me,
Give me a hug,
Or at least shake my hand
And in your presence,
To let me know
What I truly need.

To Make Me Smile – Poem

To Make Me Smile
By Diana Arco

To make me smile
Into a dream
To take me away.
Like those bubbles
Flying in the air
They burst to die
To pop up and born again.

It is that enchanted moment
I cannot let it pass,
It’s just one smile
A peace of love
So close and deep
Within my heart and soul
That I gladly receive.

To make me smile
it is all that it takes.
I don’t demand nothing outside
A hear in love can give.
As simple and magical
I open my arms wide
And you’re welcome into my life
Like the first time.

A Smile

Make you smile

Cascade – Poem

Cascade
By Diana Arco

Welcoming the morning sun,
A thought came down
And with freedom
My heart gave it attention.
To one word said it all:
“Cascade”

And the experiences came
Like water right to my senses,
The memories from my past
And the situations from the present.
Cascades into my existence,
Fresh and clean participant and observer.

And I was cold sometimes
For some memories
From my water
They made my cry,
But I fully enjoy
The present gifts,
They make me smile
A gratitude coming from my heart and soul,
From my love in its truth
For I recognize the blessings I receive.

Thank you cascade
For my past memories rushed away.
But Under your bathing care
My present is greeting me
With a loving embrace,
And a message of hope
Delivers the song
Of a beating heart
Truly in love with life.
So I live love in my life.

Oh, Realize – Poem

Oh, Realize
By Diana Arco

And, oh, realize.
What’s here?
What’s beyond?
What stays?
What’s left behind?

And, hear me today,
Oh, realize.
Just the chance
The change
The new
Beating up the old
That’s already gone,
And you still embrace
As the present.
Oh! No!

But, pay attention,
Oh, realize,
What I’am telling you
It’s absolutely the true.
I’m not here to convince you,
I have the invitation
And I’am handing it over to you.

Just, take note,
And decide,
Give a good use
Of your heart and soul
Screaming inside.
Oh, please realize,
It’s your own life.

Life live love

The Doors From The Past, Present, And Future – Poem/Tale

The Doors From
The Past, Present,
And Future.
By Diana Arco

I’am an investigator
Of my own life’s truths,
And it goes at it is
When a home called “Past”
Another called “Present”
And the “future”
Open their books.

So before the door of my past
I’am knocking many times,
Then in silence I stand
Waiting for a reply.
I’am greeted
By an ancient voice
“This is what it was”
And my heart and soul
Are in freedom
For there are only pictures
Of the old me.
And by my memories
I laugh, I cry, I dream,
But nothing more
For frozen they’ll always be.
The past cannot meet me
For a challenge to change.
So I accept with peace
All what’s been.

Now I’am knocking at the door
That leads to my future,
And that opens by itself
To find out its owner,
The fog, that hides what I cannot see
For there’s nothing in here.
Oh, I feel so cold at sudden.
Then it’s warming fast,
It’s raining,
It’s stormy… snowing…
And I realize
In freedom I stand
Watching my hands
I’am here to create,
To give shape,
To live, to share.
And I walk away from a place
That’s not ready for me yet.

Then I reach at my present’s door,
And I read a sign
Hanging from its knob:
“Today is yours”
I don’t have to knock
For it’s not locked from my presence.
And to my admiration
I find an empty room
And a large mirror
Where I see my own reflection.
“Today is myself”

Eternal Battle – Poem

Eternal Battle
By Diana Arco

There is an eternal battle
That started since ancient times.
It’s this never ending balance
To weight from a little feather,
To the whole universe itself.

Numbers are flying infinite,
Time never waits for anyone.
So to do what must be done
In the present, and no where else.

Love is the conqueror,
Keeper of all good and beauty,
Gratefulness from the heart.
Oh, shiny sun and pleasant wind,
Always feeding the hunger in need
Of something truth in their lives.

Ego is the villain,
The one that wins in disguise.
The ones falling in its trap
Enjoys a treasure for a while,
But later are devoured within their souls,
Cause’ the root of all evil
Lies deep in its house.

Then love, the great hero,
Is at the rescue
When a call is answered
With a sincere humbled lesson:
“Waking up after the fall.
Embracing what’s real
And letting go what’s not.”
