Mr. Wait For Me – Poem

Mr. Wait For Me
By Diana Arco

Here you are again,
So confident
Gallant and beautiful,
Perfect so imperfect you.
Inside my head,
Making my heart
To speed up around
Dreaming about
Those sweet promises
Out from the very famous
“The best is yet to come”

Oh, my dearest one,
Mr. Wait For Me…
This is who you are.
I need you in my life
For there’s so much love
I’ve been giving and receiving
Already from myself,
But it is not enough.
I need the perfect embrace
Of the one who’s going to come.

So, here is my notice
And keep it in your soul.
I will never
Give up on you.
Then in my waiting
My lips are already
Kissing yours.
So, until our meeting
My Dearest
Mr. Wait For me,
I’am praying for you

A Melody Me – Poem

A Melody Me
By Diana Arco

From where I’am
I believe you sing,
And you dance as well
Some tunes of your choice.

Within my heart
At reach it is
A lonely lovely melody.
I’am in me.

Alive,
Oh melody,
Sparkling notes
Of love and hope.

Alive,
Beatings from my heart,
Rhythm of my whereabouts.
Here I breathe my own existence out.

Then, would you embrace
this melody me?
The truth and respect
It’s a must deep within.

Then, would you sing
And dance this melody me?
If you’re free,
Join me where you know I stand.

Message Of Love – Poem

Message Of Love
By Diana Arco

Sweet roses
That came and took their place,
The beauty of my live’s garden,
I nurture you delighted
Every single day.

Words of love and joy,
Ignorance and sadness
They hear me speak.
So the night’s moon fell
Deep within me.

And there is a beat
Inside of my chest
And my sweet roses
Only dances with its wind,
A song they only understand.

So there is a call
In such frequencies,
A long distance
For a mile to reach…
I fear to become a stone in the way.

Sweet roses
You give me comfort
When I need it the most.
So here I nurture you
With my message of love.

The Gift Of Love – Poem

The Gift Of Love
By Diana Arco

Blessed with the gift of love,
Celebrating with a poem
That’s only yours,
The one I write
With my most
Humblest sincerity,
The one that lives
Inside me is singing.

The gift of love
Within my heart,
My soul, my life.
For my gift
I embrace you dear
And strong.
So I don’t let you fall
My dearest one.

And we’re both
Just an inspiration away
From each other,
Then we meet day after day
In tenderness ballads,
For our gift of love
Makes all this possible
For both of us.

For our understanding
I smile gratefully,
For the love we’re receiving,
That was made only for us,
To our fit,
To our size,
To our walk.

And we’re our own heroes,
The survivors of our paths.
We’re miracles that experience
The joy and blessing to be alive.
And our gift of love
Present in our existence
Kisses our cheeks,
For love is what
We really have.

I Love You So Much ❤

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
― Anonymous, Holy Bible: New International Version

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”
― Plato

“So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

My Conversation With Mr. Albert Einstein -Poem

My Conversation With Mr. Albert Einstein.
By Diana Arco

Once upon a time
I went into an imaginary travel,
Back in time…
Then I saw a wise man in the park,
Seated on that wooden bench,
Under a huge and beautiful summer tree.

He was taking notes,
Asking to himself:
“Does cold exist?”
Then he said,
And sounded convinced,
“No, it doesn’t”

“Well, that’s so absurd,
My dear old man!”
I felt myself the need
To intervene loud and clear.
“Cold it’s very real to me!
Thank you very much, indeed!”

The man looked at me
With his tired brown eyes,
And said calm and easy
The following words:
“What you consider cold
It’s the absence of heat.”

“That’s very obvious”
I had to admit.
“Laws of physics!
That’s how it is.”
He answered shaking
His funny and messy white mustache at me.

Then he asked me curious:
“Would you like to know
If darkness exists too?”
He was waiting for my answer
While shaking with his hand
His already white and messy hair.

“What are you up to with this, My dear Sr?”
I had to ask this instead anything else.
But he didn’t say anything,
So I decided to follow him
And listen to him after saying:
“Please, I’ll like to know.”

“No, it doesn’t” He answered firm!
I opened my mouth in protest,
Remembering all those childhood nights,
Alone, in the dark,
And at the mercy of the terrible
And sinister boogie man.

“You’re such a lunatic!”
I shouted at him.
He just smiled and answered at my red face.
“Darkness is the absence of light.
We can only study the light,
Not the dark.”

“That’s so obvious.”
I had to admit, again.
“Well, you already know why.”
He made me smile at sudden…
“That physics’ thing, right?” I asked.
And he laughed at me victorious.

Then I sat next to him,
And since he was talking about
Cold and darkness,
I couldn’t hold myself
To ask him:
“Does evil exist too?”

He looked at me
With a tender smile,
And his tired brown eyes.
Then he said out and clear:
“Please don’t yell at me now;
But evil doesn’t exist either.”

I had to stand up,
And I started to walk away,
But then I got back
To my own steps, back to him:
“You better have
Another logical explanation about this!”

The wise man took a deep breath,
He looked right into my eyes,
And he spoke to me
What I felt true in my heart:
“Evil is like darkness and cold.
God didn’t create evil at all.”

“Evil is the result
Of what happens
When man does not have God’s love
Present in his heart.”
Then he sighed, got up,
And said “It’s time to farewell now.”

“But, where are you going?”
I had to ask.
He turned himself to look at me,
And there was peace
In every wrinkle of his face:
“I’m going home to rest.”

– Compares

So I’ve decided to go in search of some quotes that includes these two words to share them with you.

Why? Finding quotes it’s a joy I have because it helps me to take a breath, make a pause, and remember the blessings I have in my life, and be grateful for.

I’am My Favorite Poet

Greetings, everyone!

I wish you all the best for your weekend.

I’m here just to share my favorite quotes about poets.

Starting with some I wrote myself, of course.
I’am my favorite poet, you know.

So, here I go!

poet

“I’am the poet
Who’s poetry is written
With love’s inspiration.”

“I’am the poem itself
Where each word is
A beat of my heart
And pieces of my soul.”

“A poet is alive
When the poem
Is listened
With a loving heart
After being processed
By the imaginative mind.”

Diana Arco

Now, to my favorite authors.

“A poet can survive everything
But a misprint.”
Oscar Wilde

“A poet is,
Before anything else,
A person who is passionately
In love with language.”
W. H. Auden

“Always be a poet,
Even in prose.”
Charles Baudelaire

“Poets are
The unacknowledged legislators
Of the world.”
Percy Bysshe Shelley

“The poet is a liar
Who always speaks the truth.”
Jean Cocteau

“The poet may be used as a barometer,
But let us not forget
That he is also part of the weather.”
Lionel Trilling

“Poets are soldiers
That liberate words
From the steadfast possession
Of definition.”
Eli Khamarov

“Her pleasure in the walk must arise from the exercise and the day, from the view of the last smiles of the year upon the tawny leaves and withered hedges, and from repeating to herself some few of the thousand poetical descriptions extant of autumn–that season of peculiar and inexhaustible influence on the mind of taste and tenderness–that season which has drawn from every poet worthy of being read some attempt at description, or some lines of feeling.”
Jane Austen, Persuasion

“The poet, therefore, is truly the thief of fire.
He is responsible for humanity, for animals even; he will have to make sure his visions can be smelled, fondled, listened to; if what he brings back from beyond has form, he gives it form; if it has none, he gives it none. A language must be found…of the soul, for the soul and will include everything: perfumes, sounds colors, thought grappling with thought”
Arthur Rimbaud

“The poet is much more
The one who inspires,
Than the one who is inspired.”
Paul Éluard

Sincerely,
Diana

The Most Awesome Person

Greetings, Everyone!

I’m here with a question for you…

Who is the most awesome person

And the answer is…

YOU

And Today means… “Every Single Day” Because it’s the present what we are living, experiencing, touching, breathing… So you have no reason to live in the past, which it’s only a memory.

Here are some amazing truths that I found, I experience, and I’m taking the freedom to share them with you…”Today”… there is no other day, when you open this post and if you wish to open it again later it will be always “Today”…
Even if you make a mistake “today” Even when you fall down “today”… you know that you are your own hero “Today”, the person you love the most, the only one you really count with. You, your #1 in your “Today’s” list.
