Mr. Wait For Me – Poem

Mr. Wait For Me
By Diana Arco

Here you are again,
So confident
Gallant and beautiful,
Perfect so imperfect you.
Inside my head,
Making my heart
To speed up around
Dreaming about
Those sweet promises
Out from the very famous
“The best is yet to come”

Oh, my dearest one,
Mr. Wait For Me…
This is who you are.
I need you in my life
For there’s so much love
I’ve been giving and receiving
Already from myself,
But it is not enough.
I need the perfect embrace
Of the one who’s going to come.

So, here is my notice
And keep it in your soul.
I will never
Give up on you.
Then in my waiting
My lips are already
Kissing yours.
So, until our meeting
My Dearest
Mr. Wait For me,
I’am praying for you

To Make Me Smile – Poem

To Make Me Smile
By Diana Arco

To make me smile
Into a dream
To take me away.
Like those bubbles
Flying in the air
They burst to die
To pop up and born again.

It is that enchanted moment
I cannot let it pass,
It’s just one smile
A peace of love
So close and deep
Within my heart and soul
That I gladly receive.

To make me smile
it is all that it takes.
I don’t demand nothing outside
A hear in love can give.
As simple and magical
I open my arms wide
And you’re welcome into my life
Like the first time.

A Smile

Make you smile

My Legacy Of Love – Poem

My Legacy Of Love
By Diana Arco

I pray for your eyes,
For your ears,
Your heart and soul,
For your life,
Your past, present, and future…
I pray for you all,
For you’re alive.
You’re my legacy of love.

In freedom I find you accepting me,
And within your openness
I’am within your love.
And I smile gratefully for your gift,
The one I embrace so dear,
And I protect safe
With all I have, myself.

So you let me go right there
Where the rainbows born during the day,
And the light disguises itself
Into sparkling fireflies around,
Our little mighty warriors of our love…
And we see them
When they get together at night,
To make from themselves a whole…
What an unstoppable giant!
Our miracle of love.

Then, You let me stay
At the most comfortable
And warming place in my life.
My very best home,
Your heart,
The one I adore
And keeps beating alive
My legacy of love
For me to please and inspire…
To love you
The way you deserve…
Unconditional me,
I’am here always for you.

The Gift Of Love – Poem

The Gift Of Love
By Diana Arco

Blessed with the gift of love,
Celebrating with a poem
That’s only yours,
The one I write
With my most
Humblest sincerity,
The one that lives
Inside me is singing.

The gift of love
Within my heart,
My soul, my life.
For my gift
I embrace you dear
And strong.
So I don’t let you fall
My dearest one.

And we’re both
Just an inspiration away
From each other,
Then we meet day after day
In tenderness ballads,
For our gift of love
Makes all this possible
For both of us.

For our understanding
I smile gratefully,
For the love we’re receiving,
That was made only for us,
To our fit,
To our size,
To our walk.

And we’re our own heroes,
The survivors of our paths.
We’re miracles that experience
The joy and blessing to be alive.
And our gift of love
Present in our existence
Kisses our cheeks,
For love is what
We really have.

I Love You So Much ❤

The Gift Of Love

“All The Light, Life, Love, And Freedom From The Heart And Soul.”

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
― Anonymous, Holy Bible: New International Version

“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”
― Plato

“So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

‘i carry your heart’ by E.E. Cummings

Greetings, everyone!

I hope you all had a good weekend.

I woke up this morning with two words sounding in my head:

– Compares

So I’ve decided to go in search of some quotes that includes these two words to share them with you.

Why? Finding quotes it’s a joy I have because it helps me to take a breath, make a pause, and remember the blessings I have in my life, and be grateful for.

I’am My Favorite Poet

Greetings, everyone!

I wish you all the best for your weekend.

I’m here just to share my favorite quotes about poets.

Starting with some I wrote myself, of course.
I’am my favorite poet, you know.

So, here I go!

poet

“I’am the poet
Who’s poetry is written
With love’s inspiration.”

“I’am the poem itself
Where each word is
A beat of my heart
And pieces of my soul.”

“A poet is alive
When the poem
Is listened
With a loving heart
After being processed
By the imaginative mind.”

Diana Arco

Now, to my favorite authors.

“A poet can survive everything
But a misprint.”
Oscar Wilde

“A poet is,
Before anything else,
A person who is passionately
In love with language.”
W. H. Auden

“Always be a poet,
Even in prose.”
Charles Baudelaire

“Poets are
The unacknowledged legislators
Of the world.”
Percy Bysshe Shelley

“The poet is a liar
Who always speaks the truth.”
Jean Cocteau

“The poet may be used as a barometer,
But let us not forget
That he is also part of the weather.”
Lionel Trilling

“Poets are soldiers
That liberate words
From the steadfast possession
Of definition.”
Eli Khamarov

“Her pleasure in the walk must arise from the exercise and the day, from the view of the last smiles of the year upon the tawny leaves and withered hedges, and from repeating to herself some few of the thousand poetical descriptions extant of autumn–that season of peculiar and inexhaustible influence on the mind of taste and tenderness–that season which has drawn from every poet worthy of being read some attempt at description, or some lines of feeling.”
Jane Austen, Persuasion

“The poet, therefore, is truly the thief of fire.
He is responsible for humanity, for animals even; he will have to make sure his visions can be smelled, fondled, listened to; if what he brings back from beyond has form, he gives it form; if it has none, he gives it none. A language must be found…of the soul, for the soul and will include everything: perfumes, sounds colors, thought grappling with thought”
Arthur Rimbaud

“The poet is much more
The one who inspires,
Than the one who is inspired.”
Paul Éluard

Sincerely,
Diana

Books Are Magic

Flying Books

Greetings everyone!

Today I feel the need to share with you why “books are magic”… So I found such amazing quotes.

Enjoy!

“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.”
― Neil Gaiman, Coraline

“I have always imagined that Paradise will be a kind of library.”
― Jorge Luis Borges

“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.”
― Oscar Wilde

“You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children.”
― Madeleine L’Engle

“What really knocks me out is a book that, when you’re all done reading it, you wish the author that wrote it was a terrific friend of yours and you could call him up on the phone whenever you felt like it. That doesn’t happen much, though.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

“Books are a uniquely portable magic.”
― Stephen King, On Writing

“I cannot live without books.”
― Thomas Jefferson

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”
― Augustine of Hippo

“Books should go where they will be most appreciated, and not sit unread, gathering dust on a forgotten shelf, don’t you agree?”
― Christopher Paolini

“My Best Friend is a person who will give me a book I have not read.”
― Abraham Lincoln

“If you take a book with you on a journey,” Mo had said when he put the first one in her box, “an odd thing happens: The book begins collecting your memories. And forever after you have only to open that book to be back where you first read it. It will all come into your mind with the very first words: the sights you saw in that place, what it smelled like, the ice cream you ate while you were reading it… yes, books are like flypaper—memories cling to the printed page better than anything else.”
― Cornelia Funke, Inkheart

“I don’t believe in the kind of magic in my books. But I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.”
― J.K. Rowling

“Everything in the world exists in order to end up as a book.”
― Stéphane Mallarmé

“Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations.”
― Henry David Thoreau, Walden

“Sleep is good, he said, And books are better.”
― George R.R. Martin

“He was the crazy one who had painted himself black and defeated the world.

She was the book thief without the words.

Trust me, though, the words were on their way, and when they arrived, Liesel would hold them in her hands like the clouds, and she would wring them out like rain.”
― Markus Zusak, The Book Thief

“A book is a gift you can open again and again.”
― Garrison Keillor

Open a Book

Sincerely,
Diana.

The Most Awesome Person

Greetings, Everyone!

I’m here with a question for you…

Who is the most awesome person

And the answer is…

YOU

And Today means… “Every Single Day” Because it’s the present what we are living, experiencing, touching, breathing… So you have no reason to live in the past, which it’s only a memory.

Here are some amazing truths that I found, I experience, and I’m taking the freedom to share them with you…”Today”… there is no other day, when you open this post and if you wish to open it again later it will be always “Today”…
Even if you make a mistake “today” Even when you fall down “today”… you know that you are your own hero “Today”, the person you love the most, the only one you really count with. You, your #1 in your “Today’s” list.
