The Gift Of Love
By Diana Arco
Blessed with the gift of love,
Celebrating with a poem
That’s only yours,
The one I write
With my most
Humblest sincerity,
The one that lives
Inside me is singing.
The gift of love
Within my heart,
My soul, my life.
For my gift
I embrace you dear
And strong.
So I don’t let you fall
My dearest one.
And we’re both
Just an inspiration away
From each other,
Then we meet day after day
In tenderness ballads,
For our gift of love
Makes all this possible
For both of us.
For our understanding
I smile gratefully,
For the love we’re receiving,
That was made only for us,
To our fit,
To our size,
To our walk.
And we’re our own heroes,
The survivors of our paths.
We’re miracles that experience
The joy and blessing to be alive.
And our gift of love
Present in our existence
Kisses our cheeks,
For love is what
We really have.
I Love You So Much ❤
“All The Light, Life, Love, And Freedom From The Heart And Soul.”
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
― Anonymous, Holy Bible: New International Version
“Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.”
― Plato
“So, I love you because the entire universe conspired to help me find you.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that’s keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)
